Gymleader New Zealand Ltd manufacture and supply its products and services under four brand names:

This is the original and most extensive part of the company and Gymleader equipment can be found in just about every school gymnasium or recreation facility throughout New Zealand.

This is a comprehensive range of commercial grade weight training and physical conditioning equipment and is manufactured in the factory under this brand. Last year saw the start of a refocus of the product range to more directly reflect the needs of schools and similar institutional clients, which represent the core market of the business.
Its clients have proved this equipment over the last 20+ years.

This is a diverse product range with particular emphasis on specialist matting for such sports codes as gymnastics and martial arts.

The Sportmat range also offers a full selection of equipment for other sporting codes and their designs have formed a loyal following throughout the country and are now manufactured alongside the Gymleader products allowing the customer a far greater choice of equipment to suit their particular requirements.

This is the installation and service side of the company. It is generally accepted that assistance will be required for the installation of some of the types of equipment manufactured by Gymleader. This can range from a full installation service by company staff to supplying the necessary information for suitably qualified tradesmen to complete the tasks.

However, it is often ongoing maintenance that is overlooked. Through the Sportsafe branding, the Company is building on its established ‘time & materials’ maintenance service and it is their goal to provide the New Zealand institutional market with a comprehensive Annual Sports and Recreational Equipment Appraisal and Maintenance Service.
